Yep, I Got Kicked Out
Getting tossed wasn’t the real story.
What I saw in the mirror afterward was.
What started as passion turned into pride,
and the lesson hit harder than the ejection.

Three Feet From Gold

An uncle of R.U. Darby went West to dig for gold. He worked hard, staked his claim, and after weeks of sweat and effort, struck a vein of shining ore.

It looked promising, one of the richest finds in Colorado. He borrowed money, bought equipment, and went all in.

Then one day, the gold disappeared.

They drilled desperately, searching for the vein again, but it was gone. Defeated, they quit.

They sold their machinery to a junk man for a few hundred dollars and went home.

The junk man, curious, brought in a mining engineer to study the fault lines. After a bit of analysis, the engineer discovered something stunning.

The Darbys had stopped drilling just three feet from a massive vein of gold.

The junk man picked up where they quit and pulled millions from the mine.
